Jason Thompson joined The Morning Line on Sky Racing this morning with updates on his stars in Brisbane Cup heats, as well the latest on Explicit and other lesser known greyhounds in the kennel.
One of the lesser known ones is Traumatise who has had just three starts. All were in the Pink Diamond Maiden Sprinter series at Geelong which he won.
The comments about him were absolutely glowing.
“I think this dog could be as good as we’ve had,” said Thompson.
As many know, Canya All Class trialled like a rocket and broke 29-seconds at Sandown Park last Friday morning. He wasn’t the only one to go well.
“I heard all of the commentary about Canya All Class on Friday morning. This dog (Traumatise) has never been on four corners or been to Sandown, he went just under four lengths slower than Canya All Class and ran home a length slower than him. It shows the motor he’s got.”
We don’t have to wait long for his next start. He’s drawn box 1 in the opening race at Sandown Park this Thursday night.
“I don’t know where he’s going to end up, but it wouldn’t surprise me that at the end of the year he’s in the top echelon of dogs in Australia.”
