Vale James Harrington

It is with deep sadness that Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) advises of the passing of 64-year-old trainer James Harrington following a medical incident at the Warragul race meeting on 18 May.

GRV and the entire greyhound racing community extend our heartfelt condolences to James’ family, friends and colleagues on the sad news of his passing.

The funeral for James Harrington will take place at:
Yarram Lawn Cemetery
Friday 26 May at 11am

GRV and the Warragul Greyhound Racing Club are working together to offer support to the family and the wider greyhound racing community affected by this news.

Members of the greyhound racing industry, and their families are encouraged to utilise the free and confidential Greyhound Participant Support (GPS) counselling service if they are in need of support.
