The Stir Up featuring Landyn Bale, Valor Bale and Ariarne Bale

GRV’s Peter Quilty, Gerard Guthrie and Trent Langskaill provide their thoughts on some of the star greyhounds racing in Victoria.

Keep an eye on these, they are worth saving in your WatchDog Blackbook!

Quilts  Fellas, while there is no feature race in Victoria this weekend, there are plenty of classy greyhounds in action, particularly Premier Racing at Sandown Park this evening.

Gerard  The 515-metre Free For All (Race 6) is headlined by the clash between Mark Delbridge kennelmates. Landyn Bale and Elite Alex should provide a great battle.

Trent  Group 1 runner-up Amron Dan appears in the third race tonight. If he repeats his dominant performance at The Meadows two starts back, he will be hard to reel in.

Quilts  Race 4 is a ripper with Group 1 winner Aston Velvet and Group 1 placegetter El Dorado up against Rhino Bale and he is aiming to win for the seventh time in his last eight starts.

Trent  Rob Britton has a top hand in the Launching Pad Qualifier Final (Trooper Tears and Trapper Tears). Group 3 winner Stealth and Riptide Ruslie – eyeing four straight wins – also feature tonight.

Quilts  Ailee Bale is one of two runners for Mark Delbridge in Saturday night’s Country Classic Final at Dubbo. Will Valor Bale win his fourth straight race and sixth in his last seven?

Gerard  Jackpot Joan is also in the final for Glenn Dainton and he understands that her task will be difficult. He also shared some positive news on Dookie Devil when we chatted.

Quilts  Ariarne Bale provided Daniel and Rebecca Gibbons with their first Group 1 last month. Can she secure another Group 1 in the Galaxy Final at Cannington?

Gerard  She will face tough opposition including dual Group 1 winner Stagger Out Lee and the local Couch Surfer. The Four Frothys Syndicate are hoping that lightning strikes twice in the Group 1 Perth Cup Final with Yahoo Serious.

Trent  Dragon Inn will be looking to go six-from-six at The Meadows on Saturday night and don’t forget that we have heats of the Group 2 Shepparton Cup on Monday night.
