Three reasons to attend The Phoenix

This Saturday marks the culmination of the world’s richest greyhound racing series – the $4.1 million 2022 Sportsbet Dream Chasers Festival.

Over the last six weeks, Greyhound Racing Victoria, in conjunction with The Meadows and Sandown Park, have provided greyhound racing fans with five blockbuster nights of world-class racing.

From the Group 1 Topgun to the Group 1 Melbourne Cup, Australia’s best greyhounds flew around two racetracks – creating history along the way.

It’s been a month and a half to remember and there’s still a fantastic finale to come – The Phoenix.

If you have been unable to attend, or still searching for a last-minute December activity, here are three reasons why you should come along to The Phoenix on Saturday, December 17.

It’s Australia’s newest, most exciting greyhound racing

Australia’s newest, most exciting greyhound race on the calendar is back for another year.

Last year’s inaugural race was one to remember, but this year promises to top that!

Come along and witness Australia’s eight best sprinters compete for $1.65 million in prize money.

The ‘best of the best’ greyhounds

From last year’s inaugural Phoenix winner Wow She’s Fast to rivals Amron Boy and She’s A Pearl, the ‘best of the best’ will be on show.

But it’s important to supplement the ‘best of the best’, right? The Phoenix isn’t all about racing.

Something for everyone

Good Times Party DJ will be providing music throughout the night before Australia’s most distinguished house DJ, Chloe Wilson, keeps the party going after the final race.

Entry is $10, with only limited $45 packages remaining.

Get your tickets at dreamchasersfestival.com.au and don’t miss out on one of the best race nights of the year!
