Healesville 7/10 Abandoned

Today’s (Friday 7 October) race meeting at Healesville has been abandoned.

Racing was indefinitely delayed following race 5 due to persistent heavy rain in the area causing the creation of several areas of erosion and flooding to the track.

Stewards declared the track unsatisfactory for racing and subsequently abandoned races 6-12 at 1:00pm, pursuant to GAR 110 (4).

All bets on greyhounds in the abandoned races are to be refunded.

The weights recorded for the greyhounds in the abandoned races are void and do not count for the purposes of the weight rule at the greyhounds’ next start.

Prizemoney to be split evenly between the competing greyhounds at the time of abandonment.

GRV are assessing the track with tomorrow’s race meeting at Healesville in mind. More to come….
