Traralgon reopening on hold

Over the past week GRV and Traralgon GRC staff have worked together to harrow the track to a depth of 80mm – as well as grade and consolidate the surface – following the decision to expedite the harrow originally planned for 21 March.

The club is now expected to be reopen for trialling on Thursday 17 March, subject to track diagnostic reports.

Trainers are advised that initial trial sessions (scheduled for 17, 22 & 24 March) will be conducted using a single lure system, with all trials to be reviewed during this period.

It is intended that the club return to racing on Saturday 26 March 2022 at the earliest, with trainers encouraged to stay tuned to FastTrack’s ‘Announcements’ section for the latest updates.
