ACTION GIRL (5) has won ten of 12 and she went through the first marker in a blistering 10.08sec before stopping the clock in a brilliant 22.92sec in her heat win. The box draw hasn’t done her any favours but if she can carve out something similar to her heat run, they will have a hard time holding her out. ZIPPING SCORCHER (4) has won ten of 17 and he is armed with a breathtaking turn of foot once balanced. He went a little slower in his heat win, however he has the ability to push the 23-second barrier, so if the favourite happens to miss the kick, he will be there to capitalise. BLAZING NENNA (1) is back in form, while talented types WATCH THE CLOCK (2), RUN MACHINE (6) and BEATRIX BALE (8) all deserve a mention.
