ROBBIE ROTTEN (8) was brilliant at Ballarat and he will be much better for the run, so a top-two finish looks likely. BLAZING NENNA (2) has been racing well in stronger company of late and she should be able to lead for a long way. The last 30m is a worry but she will be able to hold on for a top-three finish.

ROBBIE ROTTEN (8) has recently joined the Kayla Cottrell kennel and he came from New South Wales with big expectations. He made his Victorian debut at Ballarat, and he was narrowly beaten by star speedster HAZEY ROY. That was his first run for six weeks and he had to work hard to get to the lead before being run down in the shadows of the post. He should be much better for the run and a sub 25.10sec effort could be on the cards. STUDLEY (6) is a consistent type, and he normally settles on the speed, so he is the obvious danger. He will benefit from the scratching of WOODEN FINGERS (5) and make the favourite work hard throughout. SHANLYN CRIPPS (4) and FABRONI BALE (2) won’t be too far away.
