‘Immunity’ for Bulldogs

Western Bulldogs supporters will be hoping their “team of the mighty West” is ‘resistant’ to Port Adelaide and omen greyhound Immunity wins tonight.

TAB has come up with a $5.00 cross-sports offer for the “boys of the Bulldog breed” to “roar” against the Power and Immunity to ‘counteract’ her rivals in a Grade 5 final (460m) at Geelong.

The Western Bulldogs are fourth and Port Adelaide third on the AFL ladder leading into their Round 23 encounter.

Meanwhile, Immunity is TAB’s $2.50 favourite in the $1900 to-the-winner event.

Trained by Jason Thompson, Immunity – a litter sister of side-lined powerhouse Equalizer – was the fastest qualifier in 25.70sec.

She’s won 16 races from 24 starts and was a G2 Laurels Classic finalist in December last year.

Bounce down for the Western Bulldogs vs Port Adelaide clash at Marvel Stadium is at 7.50pm, while Immunity is in Race 6 Box 6 at 8.47pm.

WATCH: Sprint siren Immunity (2) proves too ‘resilient’ for her rivals with a slick 25.70sec heat win at Geelong last week.
