Industry Update : Harrowing Review

GRV, in conjunction with Greyhound Clubs Victoria, is announcing a review into the ‘Harrowing’ practises undertaken at Clubs across Victoria.

The current practise of ‘Harrowing’ greyhound racing tracks is an ongoing maintenance process aimed at producing a consistent racing and trialling surface.

It is intended that the review will seek input from Clubs including club track staff, participants and key stakeholders. The existing GRV policy will be reviewed to support the structured approach on track maintenance and preparation.

It is intended that the review will be completed by early September.

The review will be independently chaired, and feedback will be sought from key stakeholder groups.

Further information will be announced as to the engagement process in the next few days.
