Tiges & Yankee ‘doodle dandy’

Check out Friday night’s ‘doodle dandy’ AFL/Greys offer from TAB, which is sure to have Tiges’ fans ‘sticking a feather in their cap’ – and mitts in their wallets!

The betting giant’s $3.50 proposition is for Richmond to defeat St Kilda by 26pts or more and Gypsy Yankee to go ‘riding on a pony’ at Geelong.

Richmond is eighth with seven wins from 13 matches and St Kilda 13th with five wins. The Tiges and Saints are both coming off byes.

It’s also worth recalling Richmond belted St Kilda to the tune of 86pts in Round 5.

Meanwhile, the Andrea Dailly-trained Gypsy Yankee (Box 7) is TAB’s $1.60 favourite in a Mixed 4/5 over 460m.

Gypsy Yankee has won nine races (with seven seconds and five thirds) from 31 starts.

Six of those wins have been in ‘town’ at Sandown Park. And he’s three from six exiting the ‘black’ alley.

Two starts ago, Gypsy Yankee went down narrowly to megastar kennelmate Shima Shine in a Pink Diamond Champion Sprinter heat at Ballarat. He was also a semi-finalist in the G3 Launching Pad.

The Richmond vs St Kilda clash at the MCG commences at 7.50pm, while Gypsy Yankee is in Race 8 Box 7 at 9.27pm.
