Hotter than Hades!

The Demons are ‘hotter than Hades – and so too is rising star Koblenz.

But that hasn’t stopped TAB putting some ‘devil’ into tonight’s AFL/Greyhounds offer.

The betting giant’s cross-sports proposition is a ‘Dees-lighting’ $3.50 for Melbourne to defeat the Brisbane Lions in a Round 12 blockbuster and rising star Koblenz winning at Geelong.

‘Every heart beats true for the red and the blue’ with Melbourne on top of the ladder with 10 wins and Brisbane third with eight wins.

Last week, the Demons laid down the gauntlet to the Bulldogs by 28pts while the Lions slayed the Giants by 64pts.

Meanwhile, Koblenz – prepared at Lara by David Geall – is engaged in a Mixed 4/5 (460m). He’s a raging hot $1.45F on TAB’s fixed odds market.

The G1-bred Koblenz (Fernando Bale x Up Hill Jill) has won 11 races from 16 starts (69%), including the past six in succession.

He’s a ‘cousin’ of dual country cups winner Ferdinand Boy, also trained by Geall, who is chasing a $25,000 first prize in the inaugural ‘The Horizon’ final (440m) at Sale on Sunday – Race 8 at 6.59pm.

The Melbourne v Brisbane Lions clash at Giants Stadium, NSW, commences at 7.50pm, while Koblenz is in Race 8 Box 7 at 9.24pm.

WATCH: Potential champ Koblenz (1) makes it six wins on the spin, clocking a dazzling 23.65sec (Best) at Bendigo last Friday.
