Geelong & Rilynn the ‘cat’s pyjamas’

They’re ‘smiling like a cat in a fish shop’ at the Cattery – and chasing more ‘cream’.

Yes, Geelong fans will be ‘purring’ over tonight’s AFL/Greys offer, which surely is the ‘cat’s pyjamas’.

The betting giant’s $4.50 proposition is Geelong to defeat St Kilda at Marvel Stadium and ‘strike rate queen’ Rilynn Bale winning the Cannonball Sprint final at Geelong.

The Cats – who ‘clawed’ the Tigers by 69pts last week – are fourth on the AFL ladder with five wins, while the Saints – who went ‘marching in’ to the tune of 9pts – sit 11th with four wins.

Meanwhile, the ‘bullet-like’ Rilynn Bale, trained by Mark Delbridge, is TAB’s $2.60 favourite in the $5250 to-the-winner Cannonball Sprint final (400m).

Rilynn Bale has won 26 races from 52 starts – an ultra-impressive 50% strike rate – including six of her past nine. She also boasts a flying 22.41sec PB over this track/distance.

Bounce down for the Saints v Cats Round 9 encounter at Marvel Stadium starts at 7.50pm, while Rilynn Bale is in Race 6 Box 6 at 8.45pm.

WATCH: Rilynn Bale (4) finishes second to ‘explosive’ Providence Bale (8), who packed too much ‘ammunition’, in a Cannonball Sprint heat at Geelong last week.
