Geelong to host Wednesday night features in place of Ballarat

Geelong will host Wednesday night’s blockbuster race meeting that was scheduled for Ballarat following an issue with the Ballarat kennel block.

This includes the running of feature events – the $28,500 Group Listed Western Districts Derby Final, the $21,250 Lil Dickie Oaks Final and the $11,000 Meadows To Ballarat Final.

Cancelled:

Ballarat Greyhound Racing Club

Wednesday 10 February 2021 (TAB NIGHT)

Rescheduled to:

Geelong Greyhound Racing Club

Wednesday 10 February 2021 (TAB NIGHT)

The decision to move the meeting to Geelong and not postpone was due to a return date not being able to be confirmed for Ballarat at the time of publication.

Due to the circumstances, trainers are permitted to scratch greyhounds penalty free by a set time.
