Reminder about face mask requirements at greyhound racetracks

GRV reminds the general public that, in accordance with State Government restrictions, it is mandatory for any person attending a Victorian greyhound race meeting to wear a face mask while indoors, except when eating or drinking.

Face masks must also be worn outdoors at racetracks in circumstances where social distancing is not practical.

The above rules also apply to any non-racing event held at a Victorian greyhound racetrack.

Further, any person attending a greyhound racetrack in Victoria is required to carry a face mask with them at all times.

All persons attending GRV race meetings are also reminded that they MUST register their attendance by use of the displayed QR codes at each venue.

This is particularly important to assist with COVID-19 contact tracing, should the need arise.

As the COVID-19 situation evolves, further updates will be provided based on advice from the Chief Medical Officer.
