Hot exhibition trials in preparation for Silver Chief series

Flying Ricciardo, Sunset Spitfire and Sunset Toxic will exhibition trial at The Meadows on Saturday night in preparation for the upcoming Silver Chief series.

Flying Ricciardo is fresh off the back of a Dapto Megastar victory where he defeated Simon Told Helen in impressive fashion.

The NSW star is trained by Kristy Sultana and has won 19 of his 23 career starts.

WA sensation Sunset Spitfire for trainer David Hobby and his litter brother Sunset Toxic will also grace The Meadows with their talent on Saturday night.

Sunset Spitfire, a son of Mepunga Blazer and Sunset Jessie, is unbeaten in his 12 career starts – all but two in best of the night times.

Sunset Toxic has won nine of 17.

Heats of the Group 1 Silver Chief will be run next Saturday night (26 December) and is for male dogs whelped on or after June 1, 2018.

The final will be held on Saturday January 2 holding the first prize of $100,000.
