THRILL OF THE CHASE RETURNS TO 7TWO

AUSTRALIA’S only free-to-air greyhound racing television program THRILL OF THE CHASE  returns this Sunday on 7TWO for an exciting four week run – including a live broadcast of the world’s greatest greyhound race the TAB Melbourne Cup.

Hosted by Jack Heverin, with panellists – race caller and greyhound trainer James Van de Maat and Greyhound Racing Victoria’s Molly Haines, THRILL OF THE CHASE  promises viewers all the latest news and opinions from on and off the track, and live TAB odds.

On Friday 27 November, the show heads to Sandown Park for all the action of TAB Melbourne Cup night – a showcase of greyhound racing with eight feature finals on the 12-race card carrying over $1,000,000 in prizemoney.

Over its 65-year history, the TAB Melbourne Cup has been won by some of the sport’s greatest champions both canine and human. To win the Cup is to realise a dream of trainers, owners and breeders across the country and around the world and cement their place in greyhound racing’s rich history.

As well as covering all the big races, THRILL OF THE CHASE  will take viewers behind the scenes into the most successful kennels to meet dedicated breeders and athletes from around the country.

Chair of GRV Peita Duncan said the show was a window into the wonderful world of greyhound racing.

THIRLL OF THE CHASE  will showcase previews and reviews of the big races and performances as well as feel-good feature stories from the people and four-legged athletes who make our sport so special,” Duncan said.

“Whether you are a passionate fan or a casual punter, the show is the perfect opportunity for people to get involved with the fastest sport on four legs.”
