Classy Ethics scratched from Topgun Stayers

Queensland stayer Classy Ethics has been scratched from Saturday night’s Group 1 TAB Topgun Stayers due to a minor hip injury.

The daughter of Bella Infrared and Slasher’s Ethics is a winner of seven races from 27 career starts which includes the Group 1 TAB Queensland Cup (710m).

Due to COVID restrictions, Classy Ethics is in the care of Brooke Ennis.

The scratching paves the way for Victorian trained Rockstar Beav who is the first reserve for the 725m feature at The Meadows.

Rockstar Beav will now find himself up against his kennel mate and TAB favourite Sunset Bourbski.

Rockstar Beav’s box draw will be determined at 8.30am Saturday morning.
