Vics MDC blitz

To steal some lyrics from Sweet: “Oh yeah! It was electric… So perfectly hectic.”

Yes, the Vics have turned the Million Dollar Chase qualifiers into a blitz!

First it was Simon Told Helen at Temora, followed by Shima Shine in near-record time at Bulli.

Then yesterday, Tiggerlong Tonk ($1.15F) “was like lightning” scoring by 8.75L in 30.00sec in an MDC heat (525m) at Wagga.

And “boy I want to warn you”, the Vic blitz looks like continuing…

WATCH: Tiggerlong Tonk (7) blitzes his rivals,
clocking 30.00sec and scoring by 8.75L in
an MDC regional heat at Wagga yesterday.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Victorian trainers have transferred their MDC aspirants to NSW-based counterparts – including Andrea Dailly who has Jax Bale (R5 B4 – 8.38pm), Gladioli Bale (R6 B1 – 8.57pm) and Faithy Bale (R8 B7 – 9.35pm) in MDC heats (535m) at Richmond. Her trio will race under the caretaker trainership of Ross Davidson.

Meanwhile, also at Richmond, Glenn Rounds’ duo Waging War (R7 B4 – 9.15pm) and Amarillo Highway (R8 B2 – 9.35pm) will race in John Finn’s name.

Other Victorians set to launch their MDC campaigns are Caishen (R9 B1 – 10.05pm) at Nowra (520m) tomorrow and Fire Legend (R5 B8 – 8.12pm) at Maitland (450m) on Monday.
