Siblings hit Ballarat

Alan Bayliss heads to Ballarat this afternoon with litter siblings Red Taltarni and Have A Roadie.

Watchdog Racing have tipped Red Taltarni in race five from box one (4.32pm) as their best bet of the meeting but Bayliss isn’t as confident.

“He is drawn perfectly in box one, but I don’t know how he will handle being in the boxes longer because we are boxes one at a time,” Bayliss said.

Bayliss understands why the measures are in place to box individually in the current climate, but he does think punters should take this into consideration when having a bet.

“I still think he has a good chance of winning the race, maybe not the best bet of the day though.”

Red Taltarni is currently the $1.65 favourite with TAB.

Bayliss’ second contender, Have A Roadie holds a bit more value than her litter brother.

Have A Roadie has drawn box two in race two and is currently sitting at $7.50 to win her first race from seven starts.

“She is coming back from a break and I think she is feeling good,” Bayliss added.

Ballarat’s 12 race card kicks off at 3.09pm today.
