Simon chasing more silverware

Simon Told Helen is a hot favourite to win Monday night’s Group 3 RSN Silver Bullet at The Meadows.

Having narrowly beaten litter brother Who Told Stevie in an exciting TAB Great Chase Grand Final at The Meadows last start, Simon Told Helen will exit Box 8 as the $2.25 favourite ahead of Curt Lee ($5.00) and Barooga Brett ($5.50).

Who Told Stevie stepped out at Sandown last Thursday to win a Melbourne Cup Prelude at Sandown Park in a scorching 29.14sec and trainer David Burnett will be hoping his good fortune continues on Monday night with his brother.

“They’re only young babies. Simon has got the early pace and splits and Stevie has the strength,” Burnett said recently.

Who Told Stevie and Simon Told Helen demonstrated their untapped ability when winning semi-finals of the Great Chase at The Meadows in 29.65sec and 29.73sec respectively.

Who Told Stevie has won six of his eight starts, while Simon Told Helen with match that record if victorious in the $25,000 to-the-winner RSN Silver Bullet, which is a supporting feature on Hume Cup night.

The 22-month-old sons of Barcia Bale and Who Told Lindylu loom as X-factors heading into the upcoming the Melbourne Cup and Silver Chief series.
