THURSDAY THOUGHT – BLAZING CARTIER

Keep a close ‘watch’ on Blazing Cartier at Sandown Park tonight.

That’s the succinct message from expert form analyst The Watchdog, who has selected the former NSW stayer in a Restricted Win event over 715 metres.

Now in the astute ‘hands’ of Lara mentor Robert Britton, Blazing Cartier put the ‘time’ on the board with a slashing 41.76sec Mixed 4/5 (715m) win at Sandown Park a fortnight ago.

Blazing Cartier has notched six wins (with six seconds and three thirds) from 23 starts. His task has been made all the easier tonight as he’s only pitted against four rivals.

Britton currently sits fourth on the ‘metropolitan tracks’ (Sandown Park and The Meadows) trainers’ table, with 39 winners from 220 starters at a strike rate of 17.73%.
