WEDNESDAY WHISPER – SHADOW MIST

Out of the ‘punting murk’, so to speak, comes a clear-as-day selection from The Watchdog.

Yes, there’s nothing keeping punters ‘in the dark’ about Shadow Mist.

Quite on the contrary, Shadow Mist emerges from the betting haze as The Watchdog’s ‘Best Bet’ on the program at Ballarat tonight. He lines up from box one in a Grade 5 over 450 metres.

Undefeated, with three wins to date – Bendigo (425m) – 24.03sec, Shepparton (450m) – 25.28sec and Ballarat (450m) – 25.50sec – Shadow Mist looks like a greyhound going places.

Trained at Heathcote by the astute Robert Douglas, Shadow Mist’s early pace should ensure his rivals are trapped in his sprinting smog!

Check out Shadow Mist’s most recent win, resulting in a dead-heat with Ernesto Bale, last week at Ballarat:
