As tributes pour in for the late Danny Frawley in recognition of his enormous contribution to AFL football and mental health, Spud can also be remembered for his role in promoting the magnificent sport of greyhound racing.

Danny took great interest in watching his greyhound namesake, Spud Regis dominate the racing scene, winning the 2012 Adelaide Cup and 2013 Australian Cup.

He was also an anchorman of Crocmedia’s Off The Bench TV program, which is proudly sponsored by GRV and currently aired across regional Victoria on Thursday evenings.

The greyhound family extends its deepest sympathies to Danny’s family and friends following this tragic loss.
