THURSDAY THOUGHT – DYNA PATTY

Leading mentor Andrea Dailly certainly holds the whip hand at The Meadows tonight.

Based at Anakie, Dailly currently heads this year’s Victorian all-tracks and metropolitan tracks tables, and she also presently tops The Meadows list with 96 firsts from 620 starters at a winning strike rate of 15.48%.

Dailly has four of The Watchdog’s top selections on tonight’s 12-race program, including multiple Group race finalist Dyna Patty in the Victorian final (525m) of the Group 1 National Sprint Championship series.

Dyna Patty was a gallant second, beaten one length, to Black Opium (29.71sec) in her NSC state heat last week.

She has the imposing 525m record at The Meadows of seven wins, three seconds and one third from 16 starts, with a 29.58sec personal best. Meanwhile, her overall record from box five reads three wins, three seconds and one third from nine starts.

Dailly’s other hopefuls tipped by GRV’s form analyst are:

  • Reiko Boss (Race 3 Box 6) – a last start 30.09sec winner over 525m here.
  • Lucy’s Milo (Race 4 Box 2) – unbeaten from two starts over 600m on this circuit.
  • Dyna Unther (Race 5 Box 6) – who is amassing an impressive record over 525m here, with four wins from seven starts.

Check out Dyna Patty’s never-say-die effort last weekend (from box 7) when she almost hauled in Black Opium:
