Batman fresh and ready to go

Rob Britton told RSN Racing Central’s Gareth Hall that Champion greyhound Tornado Tears is fresh and ready to go ahead of tonight’s State Distance Final at The Meadows.

“He has had a bit of time between runs, so he is fresh and ready to go,” trainer Rob Britton said.

Tornado Tears is a certain starter in the Group 1 National Distance Championship at Cannington in Perth, pending he pulls up okay following tonight’s run.

“Heading to Perth isn’t an issue for him. He has had two runs at Cannington and those runs where good as he had ever gone.”

The Victorian National Distance Championship is race seven at The Meadows tonight, with the Victorian National Sprint Championship close to follow in race eight.

All National Championship State Finals from across Australia will be run between 8pm and 10pm tonight in a Sky Racing 2 Showcase (channel 527 – open and free to all Foxtel subscribers).

Box draws for the Sprint and Distance National Finals are planned to be conducted on course at Cannington after race four and six tonight.
