Vale Elaine Vigor

The greyhound racing community is saddened by the loss of Elaine Vigor, two years after her husband Ian passed away.

Elaine had a six-month battle with cancer which sadly ended on Tuesday June 25.

Elaine shared her love of greyhound racing with her late husband Ian, as well as her daughter Del and her partner Pete, their children Hayden, Pierce, Larrah and Adam.

With Larrah excited to one day carry on her grandparents legacy by training greyhounds herself.

“I would like to thank everyone who has showed their support through this time,” Elaine’s daughter Del said.

A service to celebrate Elaine’s life will be held at the Holly Trinity Anglican Church, 19 Gisborne Road, Bacchus Marsh on Tuesday July 2 at 11am followed by the burial.

Refreshments and nibbles be held at Stony’s Club which is located at 59 Grant Street, Bacchus Marsh.
