The Geelong Greyhound Racing Club regrets to announce the sad loss of Maurice Blair, a man who gave so much of himself to the Club and the greyhound community on an administration level.
Maurice, 77, passed away on Tuesday after a battle with illness.
“Maurie was the smiling face around the Club who was always willing to lend a hand,” Geelong Greyhound Racing Club Manager David Hoey said.
“He was great mentor and most importantly a great man and we will miss his words of advice and smiling face around our club. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends during this time.”
