Hot Weather Affected Meetings Friday 4 January 2019

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, the Warragul and Geelong meetings for Friday 4 January 2019 have been marked as ‘Hot Weather Affected’ due to the forecasted temperatures of 40 and 43 degrees respectively.

As a consequence:

  • Trainers may withdraw any of their greyhounds without penalty, prior to the appointed scratching time
  • The use of barking muzzles is prohibited for both travel and kennelling
  • Kennels will open 30 minutes earlier than normal
  • Kennel temperatures will be monitored and recorded
  • Cooling Vests will be available at the catching pen.
