It’s time to talk about Time To Talk

In cased you missed it, on Tuesday at Horsham Angela and Martin Galea unleashed another star – Time To Talk.

In her second career start Time To Talk broke Horsham’s 410 metre track record by 0.006 seconds which was set in July 2018 by Circus Oasis (trained by Peter Dapiran).

“It was so unexpected,” trainer, owner and breeder Angela Galea said of Time To Talk’s track record run on Tuesday.

“To break the track record in her second start is sensational – we can’t believe it.”

Time To Talk is the daughter of Magic Sprite and Fainting Fancies, a repeat mating of Straight Track Queen It’s All Talk, and she is already showing signs of her older sisters dazzling speed.

“All the way through she has shown us she has ability, but to do what she did on the track so early on is incredible.”

Time To Talk and her two litter siblings, By Your Side and Secret Package, also competed in the GRV Vic Bred Maiden series at Horsham. Time To Talk and By Your Side made it through to the $7,500 to-the-winner final which will be run next Tuesday afternoon at Horsham.

By Your Side finished third to Aston Milla in the second VIC Bred Maiden semi-final on Tuesday, while their litter brother Secret Package was knocked out of the series in the heats the previous week.

“Secret Package missed the start from box one in his heat and wasn’t able to make it through to the semi-finals, but to have By Your Side and Time To Talk in the final is a testament their mother Fainting Fancies and her match to Magic Sprite.

“The litter are almost 20 months old and to show as much as they have so far is very exciting,” Galea said.

It’s All Talk was mated to Barcia Bale in September and are due on Melbourne Cup day.
