Important notice to trainers

Trainers who wish to nominate a greyhound to race that has been stood down pending receipt of a veterinary certificate of clearance, should ensure the veterinary certificate is forwarded to GRV at least one business day before nominations close. This will allow sufficient time for processing. If a veterinary clearance is not received by GRV in a timely manner, processing will not be guaranteed, and the nomination may not be accepted.

Unregistered People Not Permitted To Handle Greyhounds on any Racecourse – Trainers are reminded of their obligations under GAR101 (2) (a) & (b) An owner or trainer shall not permit an unlicensed person to- (a) train, at any place; or (b) handle on any racecourse a greyhound owned by or pursuant to the control of the owner or trainer.
