Warrnmabool Cup heats; Aston Dee Bee scratched

Aston Dee Bee has been scratched from the Warrnambool Cup heats due to a sore calf.

“He will only need a couple of weeks off after pulling up a bit sore from his run at Shepparton,” trainer Seona Thompson said.

“The calf injury isn’t too serious, but we didn’t want to risk any further injury.”

Aston Dee Bee has been withdrawn from heat five of the $67,000 Group Two Warrnambool Cup heats which will be run on Wednesday night.
