Vale Stan Cleghorn

Melton Greyhound Racing Club stalwart, Stan Cleghorn has passed away at age 98.

An integral part of the formation of the Melton GRC, Stan was a Life Member and past President of the club.

He also had a strong passion for greyhound coursing and was the recipient of the 2003 Ken Carr Medal in recognition of his outstanding services to greyhound racing.

Stan has been reunited with his beloved Lucy.

A Service to Celebrate the life of Stanley James Cleghorn will be held at Nelson Bros’ Williamstown Chapel, 81 Kororoit Creek Road on Tuesday 22 August at 2:30pm.
