Vale Stewart Muir

It is with great sadness that Greyhound Racing Victoria announces that long time Horsham Greyhound Racing Club and GRV employee Stewart Muir lost his battle with illness on Wednesday afternoon.

Stewart was employed as a Club Steward for many years at the Horsham GRC before starting as a casual Steward with GRV in the early 1990s, a role he held for over 25 years.

A highly respected member of the Horsham community and within the greyhound racing industry, Stewart was considered a great colleague and friend to many within the industry and all that met him were blessed by his incredibly sweet, warm and gentle nature, sense of humour and intellect. He will be sadly missed.

Our deepest thoughts go out to his wife Cheryl and children. A service will be held at 2:30pm on Tuesday, 8 November at Horsham Uniting Church, 10 Pynsent St. Horsham.
