Britton, Thompson on Stakeholder Engagement Workshop Panel

The panel for Greyhound Racing Victoria’s second Stakeholder Engagement Workshop – to be held at The Meadows on Sunday 22 May – has been assembled.

The five-person panel includes two of the biggest names in the sport, Group 1 winning trainers Robert Britton (pictured) and Jason Thompson.

The panel for Workshop Two will be made up of the following people:
DAVID ALLEN – Track Designer
ADAM BAILEY – Track & Racing Infrastructure Co-ordinator, GRV
ROBERT BRITTON – Group 1 winning Trainer
CORY HISCOCK – Track Curator/Manager, The Meadows
JASON THOMPSON – Group 1 winning Trainer

The objective from this workshop is to ‘Improving track design, developing a track safety strategy and the exploration of new lure alternatives’.

The panel will be asked a series of questions by an independent facilitator, and then by people attending the workshop (participants).

Participants will then break into groups for interactive discussion on matters raised, with views and ideas to then be presented to everyone in attendance. All views and ideas will be recorded for further consideration.
