Blues tear it up with four straight wins

An undermanned Carlton has matched the efforts of their greyhound by stringing together four straight wins yesterday against Port Adelaide at Etihad Stadium.

Unfortunately for Blues fans, Tear It Down, who is owned by a number of star Carlton footballers including Captain Marc Murphy, Bryce Gibbs, Dale Thomas and Matthew Kreuzer, couldn’t make it five in a row, running fourth at Sandown Park yesterday after facing a rise in class.

The Blues also face a rise in class as they attempt five straight wins, drawn to face unbeaten ladder leader North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.

The good form of Tear It Down, who has won five from nine so far, hasn’t gone unnoticed in the media, with Channel Seven and the Herald Sun both running stories on the talented greyhound.

He was also made reference to in a press conference with Carlton Coach Brendan Bolton (pictured) last week.
