CRANBOURNE FEATURE: Johannsen Quick Off The Mark In Above All Final

Quick Step was quick off the mark to ensure an easy victory in Wednesday night’s $7,250 Above All VIC Bred Final (520m) at Cranbourne.
The surprise victor paid $9.20 for the win; with favourite Pretty Bomb ($1.80) jumping from box one, unable to find her way through the field after missing the start.
From 16 starts Quick Step (Pictured above, courtesy Julie Ward) has won on three occasions with eight minor placings for trainer Chris Johannsen.
The Above All Final victory was the son of Lochinvar Marlow – Guacamole’s, biggest win to date adding the $5,000 first prize to his earnings.
