Dream Come True: Lioness Lulu Claims First Group 1

A house deposit is now on the cards for 22-year-old Mark Giddings after Lioness Lulu took out the duo’s first Group 1 at Wentworth Park tonight.

Starting from box eight, the fawn beauty stole the lead and didn’t look back; claiming victory in the Group 1 Association Cup over the 720 metre distance.

Victoria was heavily represented in the Group 1 at Wentworth Park with four greyhounds vying for the $103,000 Group 1 staying title.
