Pagan Midnight, who 12 months ago became the fastest ever maiden winner at Hobart, has caused a huge shock in a heat of the $450,000 Launching Pad series at Sandown Park overnight.
Winning at the huge odds of $20.60, he was the fastest heat winner in 29.48sec.
