Jesaulenko could have almost been missed at Sale on Sunday after winning by over twelve lengths late in the night. After mustering speed early on in the 440m race, the College Causeway and Elite Fairy dog continued to distance himself from the field in his stunning 24.49 win.
Trainer Terri-Maree Morris (pictured with Jesaulenko) spoke incredibly highly of the recently turned two-year old, stating that his best of the night run was impressive, but his performance left her wondering, “what’s he going to be capable of?.”
This was in response to Jesaulenko having raced fifteen times, running in the money a total of ten times, and continually improving on past performances.
Morris stated “he’s pretty consistent…we just have to keep remembering he is only a baby”.
Having not yet had a red box, Morris is excited at the prospect of an inside draw so that “he can really prove himself”.
