Vale Anthony Grech

Endeavour Hills greyhound trainer Anthony Grech has passed away at age 82.

Anthony trained many winners over a long period, the most famous of which was Carmella’s Charm, whom he guided to victory over the legendary Bold Trease in the 1989 Interstate Challenge at Wentworth Park.

He also trained Second Charm, who ran second to Bold Trease in the 1988 Sandown Cup.
