Tonk won the 2014 Group 1 Golden Easter Egg in Sydney capping a sensational carnival of racing which culminated in two Group 1 and three Group 3 finals run on Saturday night. Tonk made the most of a dream rails run from Box 2 after early leader and race favourite Buckle Up Wes (Box 1) fanned wide at a crucial stage, opening up the race for the Victorian who claimed the $250,000 first prize.
