Sensational Summer for Kids – which was run by GRV over the Christmas school holidays with the help of Kelly Sports – wrapped up on Sunday 2 February. All 13 greyhound clubs participated in this great summer holiday program with thousands of children and their families descending to their local greyhound racing club to enjoy the free entertainment and food.

As part of the fun activities for children, there was a colouring competition that children could enter to win a family Gold Coast holiday valued at $4,000. Every child that went into the draw had the chance to win this amazing prize! The random draw was conducted on Thursday 6th March and Greyhound Racing Victoria would like to congratulate three year old Jillian Perks of Whitehills, for winning the 2014 Sensational Summer Colouring Competition with her very colourful drawing.
