Please note the recent appeal by trainer Graeme Bate to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) following the decision made by the GRV Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board (RADB) on 14 October 2013 has now been heard.
The penalty imposed by the RADB was set aside and VCAT imposed a nine month disqualification with three months suspended for a period of 12 months on the condition that Mr Bate does not commit any further breaches of Rule GAR 83 during that period.
