TRAINER GIVES THE INSIDE WORD ON
AUSTRALIA’S HOTTEST GREYHOUND
 
Trainer Jason Thompson says that his TAB Melbourne Cup pre-heats favourite Black Magic Opal is primed for the series and will go into the heats at Sandown Park tonight full of confidence.

Black Magic Opal has recently set country tracks alight in Victoria breaking the Geelong track-record twice on his way to Cup glory and followed that victory with a track-record run at Warrnambool. 
 
The hottest greyhound in the country at the moment has been listed as a $4.50 pre-post favourite with TAB and is by far the most popular choice with the next elect (Paw Licking) at $7.50.
