A HAT-TRICK OF TRACK RECORDS
Black Magic Opal made it a hat-trick of track record runs when he ventured to Warrnambool last night.

After setting new track records twice in a week over 460m during the recent Geelong Cup series, the Jason Thompson-trained greyhound ran an extraordinary 24.87sec over the 450m trip at Wannon Park.

Black Magic Opal sliced a length and a half off the previous track record, held by kennelmate Ronan Izmir in 24.96sec, and what makes the performance even more spectacular was the fact he had never been there before.
