NEW POLICY REGARDING PRIZE MONEY & SWABBING

Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) advises that as of Tuesday 1 October, where greyhounds are swabbed, payment will no longer be withheld pending the clearance of swabs if the value of the stake money (or bonus) is less than $5,000. The stake money payments will be paid to the participant with the normal weekly stakemoney payment.

In the event that that swab is returned positive and the greyhound is subsequently disqualified, then GRV policy is that the stakemoney will need to be repaid to GRV within seven (7) days of notification. GRV may also elect to default a participant who fails to return the stake money.
