The Kel Greenough trained Hello Good Bye was the fastest qualifier in the heats of the Group 1 Winter Carnival Cup on Thursday night, completing the 520m circuit in a time of 29.73s

Local hero Glen Gallon won his seventh in a row at his home track when clocking a respectable 30.14s in his heat, accounting for his rivals by some six lengths.
