VIRTUE’S BEST EVER

Ken Virtue, a big name trainer from yesteryear, has unearthed the fastest greyhound he has ever trained.

Banjo Boy raised eyebrows when winning at The Meadows last Saturday night in 29.72sec, his seventh win from just eight career starts.

He obliterated his opposition by 15 lengths and ran four lengths faster than any other greyhound on the night.

Virtue said that despite being a son of former front-running sprinter Vee Man Vane, Banjo Boy possesses plenty of strength.
