On Wednesday 1 May 2013, GRV will launch the FASTTRACK GRADING SYSTEM.
Incorporating the previous Grading Guidelines together with new algorithms that are largely based on aged prizemoney and recent form, the new grading system will be consistent, fair and transparent.
Key Features include:
1. Ability to see where all greyhounds are ranked in the order of entry after the fields are drawn;
2. Animated box draw function allowing participant to watch box draws online;
3. More timely production of fields; and
4. Nominations accepted only for races that individual greyhounds are eligible for.
The new FASTTRACK grading system has undergone extensive testing, with over 1,000 races successfully graded in a test environment using actual form.
Whilst the system is automated there is still the opportunity for the Grader, applying his/her ultimate discretion, to make changes to fields however any such changes will be recorded.
